Hie! I am Akanksha Nag..I study in Lokmanya Tilak municipal medical college, Sion. I am currently in second year MBBS.
I got a score of 484/600 in my First year University Exams I.e. 80.67%
My individual marks
Are anatomy 155/200
Physiology 157/200
And biochemistry 172/200.
2.So, when all of this is new and the rest of us are still busy figuring the head and tail of the subject, how did you tackle and master the syllabus?
It wasn’t that difficult to manage the syllabus as I used to study 3-4 hours everyday. I used to discuss with my friends which helped me in memorizing a lot of things! And I read good books!

3.Did you have a set schedule, a time table that you stuck to? What were the daily hours that you put in self study ?
Yes I have a fixed schedule. That includes 5 hours of daily study.
4.Did you have a different methodology of tackling the subjects? Any special notes that you prepared?
It was reading the textbooks thoroughly to have a good concept of every topic.
I never read in question answer format for university’s. My lecture notes helped me a lot
5.Was there any help that you acquired while exam preparation? Like any visual aids any professional guidance? Or those little tit bits that the professors tell us but none other than the toppers pay attention to? Please share with us.
Internet Helped in solving A lot of doubts, YouTube And Google. I would prefer the later
6.Could you give some important pointers on Exam writing skills?
Read the text and having confound knowledge.
Draw as many flowcharts and diagrams.
Write the answers in a point wise manner.
It’s about reading things with interest and understanding them very well.
Understanding their clinical application, that helps a lot.
