Left Coronary artery

Left Coronary artery

Left posterior aortic sinus of ascending aorta.

Posterior aortic sinus

Forward

Pulmonary trunk       Left       Left auricle

  1. ANTERIOR INTERVENTRICULAR BRANCH

⇒ Septal branches

⇒ Left conus artery forms arterial ring around pulmonary trunk with right conus  artery

⇒ Ant ventricular branches…largest is “left diagonal artery”

       2. CIRCUMFLEX BRANCH

⇒ Atrial branches

⇒ Left marginal artery

⇒ Ant and Post ventricular

MNEMONIC : ACOLA

  • Anterior interventricular artery

C- Circumflex artery

O – Obtuse marginal artery

L- Left diagonal

  • Atrial anterior and post ventricular

  1. Left atrium
  2. Ventricles
  • Greater part of left ventricle except posterior interventricular groove
  • Small part of right ventricle with anterior interventricular grove
  1. Anterior part of interventricular septum
  2. Left branch of AV bundle

As it the left coronary artery it will marjorly supply the left part of the heart hence the left atrium, left branch of AV .

Being the left coronary it will supply major part of Left ventricle except PIG (post. Intervenrtivcular grove) but supplies the AIG (ant. Interventricular groove)

NO PIG

YES AIG
